My previous post spoke of my deep affection for an old friend.  My friend Matt was definitely the ring leader of our little troop and Tim and I his faithful squires.  We’d spend hours playing video games or staging huge Lego wars that could sometimes last full weekends.  Which brings me to today.

Today, 1986 Dave got a glimpse at a truly amazing site, Legoland.  This theme park in Florida is geared toward younger kids and has assorted sized characters made completely of Legos!  I was truly impressed, no doubt, and am thankful to have spent the time with my family.  I’ll say this though, at the risk of sounding like an old curmudgeon, they didn’t have ANYTHING like this place when I was 14!  Oh, how times have changed.
