Today was a huge kick in the acorns.  Why, you might ask?  What began as a routine inspection for our 2008 Honda Odyssey EX-L with optional DVD and leather seats, turned into one of the biggest repair bills of the century.  Four new tires, new rotors and break pads set us back nearly $1600!  So, I know I should be upset about the money but I’m not.  What really makes it painful is that it’s a mini-van!  Not only am I paying $1600, I’m paying $1600 so I can drive a mini-van!  I’ll survive but nobody said I have to be happy about it!
