The Magic Kingdom wasn’t so magical for many today. At 11:30 this morning, the powers that be had decided that the world’s most visited theme park had hit maximum capacity. While it’s not clear what maximum capacity is, there were rumors flying around that it is in excess of 100,000 people. To give some fun facts to fill this blog entry, that’s roughly $6 million dollars in ticket sales…in one day!
With all of this traffic and crowds, a website that I’d HIGHLY recommend you take a look at if you’re planning a trip to Disney World is TouringPlans.com. Now, I normally wouldn’t want to make recommendations because they typically don’t pan out but this website has been phenomenal. Starting with the recommendation that we get to the park early this morning, to which rides we needed to sign up for the Fast Pass service, this website guided us to a great Day 3. Ryan was able to see all of the rides in Fantasy Land with minimal wait, none longer than ten minutes. We had so much frivolous time to spend that we even sat down to watch Carousel of Progress.
If you haven’t seen Carousel of Progress, watch the video below and then you’ll understand how great the website is. Ryan had a blast on every ride we went on and we even had enough time to retreat back for our daily siesta. Speaking of which…..
